Great Thomas Set

I purchased this blanket set to go with the Thomas the Train bed my son has. The colors are very nice. Not too bright and not dull. It’s still eye catching for kids. My son seems to love it. The sheets fit well on the toddler matress. Not too tight like some sheets are and not loose enough to slide off. Very nice fit. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes Thomas the Train.

Nice set, but the comforter is a bit light

Overall, this set is good quality and not as stiff and scratchy as some other low-priced character sets we’ve had previously. Our 3 year old loves the set, too!

The quilt and pillowcase are the only pieces with Thomas’ image. The sheets simply have various sayings spelled out on them. Therefore, if you don’t use the comforter, there’s not much to look at.

The pillowcase seems a bit big, and the comforter is more of a quilted blanket. This means that while nice quality, it is fairly thin. In fact, I was surprised how small the package was when we received it. We kept his old comforter on the bed in addition to this one to make sure he’s warm enough in the winter. It will be nice for summer by itself, though, and won’t be as heavy and hot as a standard comforter.

It washes well and is holding up very well after several months – no fading, loose stitching, etc. If you like the design, go for it.

These are large and very useful blankets, perfect for swaddling! They stay fairly soft and end up being all purpose in my household: burp cloth, play mat, swaddle blanket, carseat blanket etc.

These receiving blankets are perfect for swaddling because of their size. I haven’t been able to find other receiving blankets as long as these. Plus, they have really held up after numerous washes as they tend to get used for burp clothes too.

Shrinking and pilling issues, but color doesn’t fade.

Despite the typical receiving blanket size, somehow these have just ended up shrinking. We wash in cold water, and tumble dry on the lowest heat setting. They shrunk to a point where they were not usable to swaddle our baby, he was 5lbs 4 oz at birth, and even at this beginning point it was a struggle. By the time he reached 7lbs, we couldn’t use these for this at all anymore.
Luckily, we have found them extremely beneficial for tucking in around him after he’s buckled into his car seat for an extra layer of warmth. We also use them for spit up, and to place under him during nursing.
They do have a bit of a pilling problem. It isn’t enough so that I wouldn’t use them, just disappointing that the flannel isn’t of a higher quality.
The colors do stay fairly vibrant, even after many washes.
Though we’ve had luck with other Carter’s receiving blankets, these particular ones, (Brown/Sage Circles) have definitely deterred us from purchasing Carter’s brand blankets. We’ve actually had better luck with the Babies ‘R’ Us brand, Koala Baby, and they are a bit cheaper as well.

Simply the Best Mattress Alternative!

After hours of searching online and reading reviews for various mattress “upgrades” for my Graco Kensley Pack-n-Play, I just happened to stumble on this link on Amazon. I went to their website and ordered the blue mattress immediately for my son. I needed an upgrade to the cardboard-like pack-n-play mattress that came with the Graco, as my 7 month old son ends up sleeping in our room much of the time in his portacrib instead of his actual crib in his room. All the other reviews for mattresses complained of them not fitting correctly. I am thrilled to say that this mattress fits my Graco EXACTLY and perfectly! No gaps on any side! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am. I feel so much better about my baby sleeping on this as opposed to the thin “mattress” that came with the Graco. It is exactly what we were needing and desperately searching for!!! Perfect!!!

This is exactly what we were looking for!!!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I looked for so long that I felt compelled to say something. I wanted to make our playard comfortable for our son and nothing worked until I found this mattress topper from MamaDoo Kids. (Love the name…reminds me of a Honey-do-list, but in this case it’s for Mom’s). It fits perfectly, without gaps on the sides like the portacrib mattresses. The fabric is thick, and the pad is very firm. The fact that it folds is perfect for when we get of of town. And the cover has zippers so we can remove and wash it.

Their website says the owners are also parents. [...]. It’s great to see some parents making a product they probably wanted for themselves.

Perfect fit!! No gaps!!

I have searched for quite a while looking for a thicker mattress for our pack-n-play. The one that comes with it is fine while using the bassinet feature but it feels hard and thin when you go to a playpen/port-a-crib version. I came across this mattress topper on one of my google searches. I was thrilled!! So thrilled I bought 2… The mattress fits so nicely without any gaps. Nice and thick so it has to be more comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone (I already have) that has a pack-n-play. Great find.

Great Baby Book Value

I’m very pleased with this baby book. The cover and pages are beautiful. It has lots of pages to record baby’s family history, baby shower, birth info, time in hospital, coming home, milestones, shot records, and the fist 5 birthdays. This book is the same set up as my 2 year old son’s Carter’s baby book. You will be able to record all the info you want in this book as well as add lots of pictures. Great book, especially for the price.

My twin girls love it!

I have infant twin girls and I love this set. They are fascinated by the window valances – always staring at it and “talking” to the butterflies – and one of them loves to roll over and feel the textures (silky and corduroy) on the bumpers. Their walls are painted a deep sage color (darker than the sample photo) and their cribs are cherry. It’s a gorgeous set and I recommend it for any girl room!

Love it!

I recieved this set for our new baby girl and instantly fell in love with the textures and colors of the fabric. It washes well and looks beautiful. The theme works well for the baby and her big sister liked it so much she wanted us to see if there was a Twin bed version since they will be sharing a room… no such luck yet, but if our “tween” is so crazy about it, we think it is a set the baby can grow with.

soft and rather good sized

I really like this blanket. But I’m scared to try washing it without buying some shout color catcher sheets. The red is VERY red and the binding is the white with cat print. I worry that it’ll bleed. So right now I just have it hanging off a chair in the room. once I know the bleed factor I’ll be easier about letting the boy slobber on it

The Jackpot of the All !

When I first saw that the first season of Spongebob was coming, I was confused. Why on Earth would they put allmost all of these episodes on DVD again? I mean, couldn’t they just put the rest of the episodes on more single DVD’s? So then I went onto Spongebob’s website, and figured out how many more episodes that weren’t already available on the other titles, would be on the first season. There are approximantly 16 episodes that you can’t get on the recent DVD’s.

Unlike some people, I am a really big DVD collector, and I sometimes buy DVD’s that I already have on VHS. And that includes buying the first season of Spongebob when I already have all the other Spongebob titles on DVD.

Nautical Excellence

This release is much awaited by many spongebob fans across the world, especially after being teased with several spongebob releases with 10 random episodes each, finally u will be able to add the 1st complete season to your collection. Just to correct one of the former reviews, the first season is not every spongebob episode known to date. The first season ran from July of 1999 until May 2000 and included 20 episodes, keep in mind every episode has 2 stories, so u can look at it as really getting 40 episodes. ANyhoo this is an absolute must for any spongebob fan, dont waste your money on the silly 10 episode releases, just get the seasons as they are released.

Works as advertised, just not helpful for me

These work exactly as advertised; however, they allow the door to open enough that my 9 month old can get his fingers pinched in the drawer or door. And he does pinch his fingers all the time! I switched to the magnetic style lock so that he can’t get the door open at all. Would work better maybe for older children who are less likely to slam little fingers.

Child safety lock.

I have this on the cabinets in my kitchen, on the ones that are on the bottom. They work pretty well, but after awhile my little guy figured out how to just push it down so that it opens up. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re trying to child proof from toddlers.

Keeps Cat’s out of Cupboards!

After looking at a few options I decided to install these to keep our cat from pulling things out of the cupboard when we’re not home. We realized we needed something when he got into the snack cupboard and shook a bag of sunflower seeds ALL OVER THE HOUSE, including all the bedrooms. After laughing and vaccuming it up I got these locks, installed them about a year ago and have had no more incidents since. Works Perfectly!
